ELECTION OF THE INTERNAL COMMISSION FOR THE PREVENTION OF RURAL LABOR ACCIDENTS (“CIPATR”) FAZENDA TAMANDUÁ

In compliance with Administrative Order no. 86, NR 31 of the Ministry of Labor, Fazenda Tamanduá recently carried out the election of the Internal Commission for the Prevention of Rural Labor Accidents (“CIPATR”).  The objective of the commission is to effect evaluations of safety hazards, and based on the results, to adopt prevention and protection measures so as to ensure that all activities, labor sectors, machinery, equipment, tools and production processes are safe and in conformity with the safety and health norms.

After the election, our commission was formed by six representatives, three of whom represent the employees and three the employer, respectively. They are:

ADDRESS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FOR THE HEALTH

In compliance with the Medical Control Program for Occupational Health (“PCMSO”), on April 29, 2010, Fazenda Tamanduá organized a talk on the Importance of Physical Activity for the Health, given by Mr. Péricles Alves de Lucena – Leisure Coordinator for the SESI (Industry Social Service) in Patos – PB. 

Stretching exercises have been widely used in several programs focusing on working people’s health. They stand out as one of main tools in SESI’s “Gymnastics at the Company” program, because they give the working man himself benefits such as a reduction in lesions during working hours, muscle relaxation, reduction in absenteeism, mitigation of body pains, improvement in posture, and a reduction in the level of stress.
