Paraíba annually joins the campaign "DONATE BLOOD,
SAVE LIFE" and FazendaTamanduá entered in this collaboration
involving all our employees in this attitude of solidarity.
Who gave the kickoff for this campaign was Dr.
Pierre Landolt, who has been a donor for a long time.
When doing his donation in Patos’ hemonúcleo,
Mr. Landolt made the first contact with the team that was
present at Fazenda Tamanduá July 13. His initiative was
important because it has encouraged the employees to become part
of this gesture of sharing.
The gathering was held at the Fazenda Tamandua by
the hemonúcleo team. Of the 50 company employees there were 20
of them present for the donation. Of these 20 employees, 16 were
able to donate. The others did not fit the prerequisites as a
donor, but they reaffirmed their commitment to mobilize for the
next collection of this act of solidarity.
Being the first kind of this campaign at Fazenda
Tamanduá, the number of participants was considered quite
satisfactory, regarding the fact that the availability of
hemonúcleo to move on to the farm has facilitated the presence
of donors, which would be harder if they had to move to the
city.
The next campaign is scheduled for the month of
November, counting not only with the presence of donors and
employees as well Dr. Pierre’s presence also..
